What we collect

Organizer accounts

When you sign in to create and manage sheets, we use Google sign-in (via Neon Auth) and keep your name and email so we can show your account and let you manage your sheets.

When someone signs up for a sheet

We store the participant's name, email, an optional phone number, their preferred language, and an optional note. Email and phone are used to send the edit link and any confirmations or reminders the organizer turns on.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to run the sign-up: to reserve a spot, send the edit link so a participant can change or cancel, deliver optional confirmations and reminders, and show organizers who has signed up. That's it.

Google Calendar connection

If an organizer chooses to connect Google Calendar, Loop requests the calendar.events.owned permission. Google defines that permission to see, create, change, and delete events on Google calendars the connected account owns; Loop uses it only to mirror Loop-generated events on that organizer's primary calendar and reconcile schedule changes back to Loop. To keep the connection working, Loop stores the connected account email, encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens, Google event identifiers, and synchronization status. Loop sends event details to Google only to provide the requested calendar synchronization. Google Calendar data and OAuth tokens are not sent to the AI event-setup assistant, used for advertising, sold, or used to train AI models. When the organizer disconnects, Loop marks the connection for cleanup and attempts to remove its mirrored events before deleting the stored connection; access can also be revoked from the organizer's Google Account.

Who can see a participant's name

By default, public sheets show first names only. Organizers can choose to hide names entirely (“hidden”) or, less commonly, show full names. Email, phone, and notes are never shown publicly — only the organizer sees them.

No ads, no selling data

We do not run ads, we do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. There is no upsell and no paywall.

Keeping & deleting data

Organizers can delete a sheet at any time, which also deletes all of its sign-ups. Participants can cancel their own sign-up using the edit link they received (or request a fresh link from the sheet's “lost your edit link?” page). Canceling removes the participant from the active roster.

Students & minors (FERPA)

Any sheet that involves students or minors — like an IEP meeting or a classroom activity — must use “hidden” visibility so no child's name is shown publicly. Please do not put sensitive student information in sheet titles, descriptions, or notes. This tool is not a place for confidential education records.

Email

We send transactional email — edit links, confirmations, and optional reminders — through Resend. We don't send marketing email and we don't add you to any mailing list.

Text message reminders (SMS)

If an organizer turns on SMS reminders for their event, you can choose to add your mobile number and opt in to text reminders on the sign-up form. This is always optional — you can sign up and get email reminders instead, and consenting to texts is never required to use this service. Messages are limited to a reminder before your event and, when the organizer enables it, one short follow-up afterward; how often you hear from us depends only on how many events you sign up for. Message and data rates may apply. We never sell, rent, or share your mobile number, and mobile information is not shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

Cookies & sign-in

Organizer sign-in uses cookies to keep you logged in. Your language choice is stored in your browser so the site stays in your preferred language. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
